We had another great week at Ascent Classical! Before we get into our upcoming announcements and reminders, we want to thank all of you for submitting your Intent to Return forms this week. We had a robust response from our current families and we're thrilled to see so many of you returning next year. We're also excited to grow and welcome many new students to our school in 2025-2026. Read on to see what we've got coming up in the days ahead.

Service Week Begins February 10
In two weeks, our school will begin its first annual Service Week. Few things give us an opportunity to exemplify the Ascent Classical Core Virtues more than serving our community. We can't wait for this chance to express our appreciation for our policemen, firefighters, and other public servants! As a reminder, we will also host a canned food drive, so please consider donating non-perishable items during that week. We will partner with The Pilgrim's Inn to ensure this food gets to those who need it most. Anything you can give will be greatly appreciated!

Coffee with the Headmaster on Tuesday 2/11
Join us for Coffee with the Headmaster on Tuesday, February 11 from 7:45-8:30 a.m. This meeting is a great opportunity to hear from Headmaster Mullins about Ascent Classical! This meeting will take place in the Teacher's Lounge, Modular 104.

No School Day on 2/14 and Make-Up Day on 2/17
As a final reminder, please note that our schedule for President's Day weekend has changed due to the snow day we had in January.
- Friday, February 14 – Staff Professional Development Day; no school for students
- President's Day, February 17 – School is in session for all staff and students

Faculty Recruiting Season
We're excited to share that we anticipate a lot of growth for our campus next year! In preparation for that, our school leadership team has entered its faculty recruiting season. On Wednesday, 2/5, representatives from our school went to Furman University to scout prospective recruits for our school. It was a pleasure to meet so many bright young minds! We look forward to finding great scholars to build our staff for the next school year.

Upcoming Parent Information Meeting
Do you know anyone interested in enrolling their students at Ascent Classical Academy, but who would like more information about our school? If so, please refer them to our upcoming Parent Information Meeting on February 25. These meetings are an opportunity for parents who haven't yet enrolled students with us to learn more about our curriculum, campus culture, and more.
