Good afternoon Ascent families,

 

We cannot believe February is already over! Our campus is excited to welcome the spring weather in coming weeks. We have a few exciting things to note for March, so read on to stay up-to-date. 

Spirit Day March 28

 

Earlier this week, we sent an email to all our families that announced our new Academy Spirit Wear online store. In case you missed that email, you can access the store by clicking the button below. Our vendor needs all orders in by March 7, so please place your orders soon! 

Our Spirit Day dress code will be the same as on Service Day. Any of our Spirit Wear may be worn with blue denim jeans instead of uniform attire. The jeans must meet these criteria:

• no rips
• no holes
• no tears

If students choose not to wear approved Spirit Day attire, they must wear standard uniforms instead. We look forward to showing our school spirit!

End of Year Report Cards

 

It is hard to believe, but there are less than three months of school left! As we look toward the end of the school year, we wanted to let parents know that they will receive an end of year report card. We will mail these report cards on May 27. These will be physical report cards, so you can expect them to arrive in your mailbox. 

Coffee with the Headmaster on Tuesday 3/11

 

This is a reminder that our next Coffee with the Headmaster will take place on Tuesday, March 11 from 7:45-8:30 a.m. This meeting is a great opportunity to hear from Headmaster Mullins about Ascent Classical Academy! This meeting will take place in the Teacher's Lounge, Modular 104. 

Early Release Day Friday, March 14

 

As a reminder, we have an early release day on Friday, March 14. On that day, our school will run from 7:40-11:30 a.m. All classes will have lunch at 11:00 a.m. in compliance with state law, so please ensure students have something to eat at the end of the school day. Our bus will run its normal morning route, and will have students to Cross Ridge Cafe by 12:00. 

School Closed on Monday, March 17

 

School will not be in session on Monday, March 17. Please enjoy the long weekend with your families!

Prospective Parent Information Meetings

 

We are deeply gratified to see so many prospective parents interested in our meetings! Due to the high demand, we've added a new parent information meeting on March 6. We also have a parent information meeting scheduled for Thursday, March 20. If you know any parents who are interested in our school and want to learn more, forward them this email! They can RSVP by clicking the buttons below.
