Curriculum Day March 21
In order to help facilitate a love for learning and an excitement for the curriculum here at Ascent, each K-6 class will be having a Curriculum Celebration on March 21! Curriculum celebrations are anchored in a piece of literature or a historical event that are currently being studied in class. Please expect emails from your students' teachers with more information about their classroom celebrations. Please note that 7-8 grade will instead have a Spirit Day; see more details about this below.

Spirit Day March 28
Last week, we sent an email to all our families that announced our new Academy Spirit Wear online store. In case you missed that email, you can access the store by clicking the button below. Our vendor needs all orders in by Monday, March 10, to ensure the shirt order arrives in time, so please place your orders soon!

Our Spirit Day dress code will be the same as on Service Day. Any of our Spirit Wear may be worn with blue denim jeans instead of uniform attire. The jeans must meet these criteria:
- no rips
- no holes
- no tears
If students choose not to wear approved Spirit Day attire, they must wear standard uniforms instead. We look forward to showing our school spirit!

Coffee with the Headmaster on Tuesday, March 11
This is a reminder that our next Coffee with the Headmaster will take place on Tuesday, March 11 from 7:45-8:30 a.m. This meeting is a great opportunity to hear from Headmaster Mullins about Ascent Classical Academy! This meeting will take place in the Teacher's Lounge, Modular 104.

Early Release Day Friday, March 14
As a reminder, we will have an early release day on Friday, March 14. School will run from 7:40-11:30 a.m. All classes will have lunch at 11 a.m. in compliance with state law, so please ensure students have something to eat at the end of the school day. Our bus will run its normal morning route, and will have students to Cross Ridge Cafe by 12 p.m.

School Closed on Monday, March 17
School will not be in session on Monday, March 17, as we have a staff professional development day. Please enjoy the long weekend with your families!

Prospective Parent Information Meeting
